Web16 dec. 2024 · I saw that somehow I had gotten the free offer for helix 3.5.... so I downloaded it and installed it over a 3.15 VR release. It worked without authorizing!!! this is the straight up download from the site. Preferring to go legit, I uninstalled everything relating to helix native and then reinstalled the legit version and I authorized it. WebAny chance you've already updated HX Edit to 3.01 (released on Feb 2, 2024)? If so, just connect Helix/HX to your computer via USB and launch HX Edit. The software will walk you through the entire procedure, including updating HX Edit 3.01 to 3.10 and backing everything up to your computer. What if I didn't update HX Edit to 3.01?

Even before the 3.5 update, you could get excellent and practically identical sounds out of both using the same IR. At that point, it becomes more about features and user experience. The last step is an extra step that does not get mentioned a lot. This additional step to Rebuild All Presets so that they will be converted to being compliant with the current Firmware 3.5 cannot be emphasized enough!!
