I like to use Sea Foam in the aerosol can as I have had good experience with it for years. Spray it in while at idle, shut off engine, let sit 15 mins, redline the sucker down the road and watch plooms of white spoke fill the air. WebFeb 3, 2010 · Spray some seafoam in the throttle body. However since these vehicle are 'fly by wire' they use a motor to control the butterfly valve on the intake manifold. That scared and me and thus I didn't clean it. DId want to strip out any gears that might be between the electric motor and butterfly valve.
