Web19 nov. 2024 · It's cheaper, stronger and much more reliable but the big draw back is the gearing. The 70e has a 3.06 first gear and the 80e has a 2.48 first gear. Doing more research I found some first gear sets that move the ratio closer to the original 3.06 in the 70e. Anyone have experience changing the gear ratios? Am I completely over thinking this?
