Survey respondents were asked to report the most frequently mentioned reasons departing physicians gave upon leaving a practice. “Poor cultural fit with the practice” topped the charts at 51 percent. Almost 70.2% of the late immigrant physicians reported quality of life as a factor to remain in the UAE, as compared with 49.7% of the early immigrant physicians (p<0.001).
