I have one that's been going on for 8 years now, when I was in a long-term relationship it sort of died (or went on a backburner that was extremely low level, I actually thought of the person as a friend instead of as a romantic interest for those years) but now that my ex left me it's on again. WebThe attachment style theory is a good way to understand how and why you are reacting certain ways in certain relationships, but it shouldn't be used to define who you are. Same goes with other personality tests like the MBTI. People shouldn't be categorising themselves into these because each person experiencing FA/DA tendencies are also so unique.
